It made my speculation-happy heart very joyful last night to see some new show announcements <3333  The rest of the 2009 schedule (as in which troupe is playing where, *not* which shows and their leads) has been up here for a while now.

2009 seems to be the year of the revival, or at least that's what it feels like.  I suppose I should be sick of MiiMai by now, but the truth is I've grown very fond of it.  And I could definitely see Yuu and Ayane as Bill and Sally.

To be completely honest, for about the first half an hour I didn’t get into hoshigumi’s version.  Other than the highly squeeful appearance of Emi Kurara and Hizuki Hana as young Oscar and Andre, there was too much dialogue (at least in the beginning) and I felt like the script was relying too much on the audience already knowing the characters.

Ai-chan is going to be the female lead in Hollywood Lover, which also has Yuuhi.  I don't think Yuuhi and Ai-chan have been paired together before, so I'm interested to see how they do.  I have some problems sometimes with Ai-chan's singing and acting, but she's so cute that I can't help but like her anyway ( Read more... )
